Lý Hoàng Nam suffered a shocking loss in the first round of the Indian F 二 Futures tennis tournament yesterday.

Vietnamese Nam, who jumped to the world’s No  八 九 五 spot, was defeated  二- 六,  四- 六 by Bernardo Saraiva of Portugal, who ranked No  一, 六 二 九.

It was the second time Nam lost to a lower-ranked rival in the first-round match of the Men’s Futures. 

Next week, he will take part in the F 三 Futures event, also in Ludhiana, India. -- VNS
